Debra June (Fitzgerald) Shimkus, 65, of Billerica, Massachusetts, passed away on August 16, 2014. Debra was born in Arlington, Masschusetts on June 19, 1949, to Dorothy and Robert Fitzgerald. She moved to Billerica at age 7, and remained there. She graduated from Billerica Memorial High School. Debra loved Rye Beach, lighthouses and going there with her family, most importantly her cousin Sherry Rohrig and niece Wendy Fitzgerald.
Debra is survived by her only daughter Dina Jennifer Sanroma, son-in-law John Sanroma,
3 Grandchildren, Lucinda Rose, John Paul and Jason Michael, one brother Dennis Fitzgerald, and other family and friends.
Her services will be private.
